We will definitely be holding a contest in October - a Halloween one - with nice prompts. What we do need, however, are nice prizes and nice judges.
There are two open spaces for judges. If you think you can judge the contest, note MagicalJoey with a note aptly titled. Judges cannot win but can enter for fun.
Prize donations: Anybody can donate a prize and still enter to win. You can donate: subscriptions, points, critiques, features, llamas, prints, DA merchandise, custom poetry, prose, drawings, chibis, etc. Real money, books...anything. If you have any queries or you are thinking of donating a prize please note MagicalJoey with a note aptly titled.

Our sister-group, GrammarNaziCritiques , is looking for more critics to join their team. They are looking specifically for poetry critics at the moment, but all are welcome.
Critics can submit their own work for critique.
Critics need only do a minimum of 2x critiques per month. More is welcome though.
SO contact MagicalJoey by note if you wish to join the critic team. There are many fun people there and you will be welcomed.

Our sister group, GrammarNaziCritiques , is running low on pieces to critique; specifically prose pieces. Remember to read the group rules before submitting, especially the ones mentioning ‘questions’, ‘summaries’ and ‘multiple chapters’. The rules are the red-pointed bullets while the philosophy is the blue-pointed bullets.

Front-2-Back is a new sister group aiming to see if your first chapter is as page-turning as you think it is. Comment on at least two pieces that are already in the group and you can submit your work to us (one work for every two comments) to have your work commented on. Come and find out if your story is a page-turner or page-burner.
